Why I decided to make social media? Ellen Hopkins?

I love my Tumblr. When I first made my Tumblr, it was because all of my friends started getting them. At first, I didn't know what the hell I was doing. I didn't know how to use Tumblr or what to post. I made a personal blog and I can't even remember the name to because I've changed it since then but after I figured out what I was doing, I made more blogs. Yes, I've probably had too many blogs. At the moment, I have a personal, writing, poetry, and weight loss blog. I'm thinking about deleting the last two and combining my poetry onto my writing but I might not. I'm not sure. Anyways, in the past, I had a drawing Tumblr where I'd post all of my doodles and drawings. I also had a One Direction blog but I realized that I just wanted those pictures to be on my personal blog so I deleted that one. I've also had others but I can't think about them. Anyways, I am in love with Tumblr now and I can't imagine not having one!

I made a twitter for the same reason that I made a Tumblr, because my friends had one. I don't really use twitter much anymore just because I have other social media sources that I like to use more. I have over 4,000 tweets though which isn't THAT big of a deal. No famous people or anything follow me. HOWEVER, my favorite author, Ellen Hopkins has tweeted me back before. I posted a picture of all of her books and said something about how they're my favorite. She replied back with something saying that it looks like a great collection! I think that was probably my favorite day ever!

ahhh! Amazing right? If you haven't read her books, definitely do! They're great! There are a lot of them but they are fast reads because it's written in poetry form. She has around 10 young adult and 2 adult books. I might be wrong about the young adult books number but there are 10 or more. I think the books really help me through a lot of things. It helps me think of what others are going through and it also gives me inspiration to write my own things. So, Ellen, if you ever read this which I doubt you will, but thank you so much for your writing. I'm absolutely in love with everything you write whether it be the poetry on your website, your YA books, or your adult books. You've inspired me so much and I will forever appreciate it! (:

I made a Facebook on April 21, 2009 (I looked it up!) and again, I made it because all of my friends had one. I also had 2 MySpace accounts but I'm not going to put them up on here just because who uses MySpace anymore? lol. Anyways, I used Facebook for a LONG time, probably longer than any other social media website (Tumblr and Twitter are creeping up!). I don't use Facebook all to much anymore because my life revolves around other social media but here and there I use it. I post pictures on there sometimes and check it if a family member invites me somewhere.

Instagram would probably be my favorite social media website thing! haha. I'm definitely in love with IG! For the longest time, I couldn't have an Instagram because I have a Windows Phone and the app was only on Apple and Android. I hated Windows for that! Haha. So much I wrote an email to the CEO of Instagram and asked very... I wouldn't say mean but forward. I asked him about making an Instagram for Windows Phones. I explained that Instagram should expand beyond it's territories (not in that wording. I was a little blunt about it). Anyways, they never replied but we got Instagram on Windows about a month or so later. Haha. Even before that, my friends that had iPhones and such, they made me an Instagram and I would send pictures to them for them to post. lol. I bet that was annoying! Believe me, I was beyond happy when I got my own app on my phone. Instagram is the best.

So I made a Vine not too long ago but I try to watch and catch up on the people I follow every day. I don't use this app as much as Instagram or Tumblr but I would say I definitely use it more than Twitter and Facebook. I think some of the videos are absolutely hilarious!

Here's the most important! YOUTUBE! The first video I ever made was posted on April 17, 2011 and it was a family friend, her daughter, and me riding the Sky Coaster. It is really bad quality because it was filmed from a phone. I pretty much started posting videos regularly on March 3, 2013 because I was bored and I love YouTube so I decided to become part of the community. It's a great place to get your mind off of things for a while. I post YouTube videos every Sunday so go look for one tomorrow!

So I made a Blogger or BlogSpot a while ago because two of my best friends had one and I decided to blog! I made my BlogSpot before I ever had a Tumblr or Twitter or anything above. At least, I think so. Don't take my word for that! Anyways, my two friends don't use Blogger/BlogSpot anymore so I'm the only one of my friends with one. I'm okay with that though! I call it BlogSpot because when I made mine, that's what it was called. I recently found out that it was called Blogger. lol. Shows you how much I know. I have recently got back into Blogger because YouTubers seem to have a website along with their blogs so I wanted to make one too. Just so if my subscribers come over here, they can learn more about me and connect more with me. Anyways, I love this place and I'm glad I decided to get back into blogging!
Make sure to follow or subscribe to me to get new posts! I don't have set days to post things but just write on here when I can!

If I missed a big social media network, make sure to tell me so I can add it! Or if I don't have that, I'll be sure to make one. I do have a SnapChat and KIK but I didn't think that they applied here! If you want to friend me on those, they're in the side bar on the right if you scroll down a little ways.

I love you guys and thank you for reading!
xoxo,
Libby.
